HealthEdge Culture Recognized Nationally Two Times

Company Wins National Designations  for Top Places to Work and Best and Brightest

Burlington, MA, February 10, 2021 – HealthEdge®, provider of the industry’s leading mission-critical claims processing, care management, and payment integrity technology assets for payors, announced today it earned a spot in the 2021 Top Workplaces USA. Additionally, HealthEdge received the National Elite Winner in Employee Achievement and Recognition designation for the 2020 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For, Top 101 in the Nation®.

Top Places to Work follows being named a Massachusetts winner in the 13th annual employee-based survey project from The Boston Globe. This recognizes the country’s leading workplaces, voted on by the people who know them best — their employees. The survey measures employee opinions about their company’s direction, execution, connection, management, work, pay and benefits, and engagement.

The Best and Brightest Companies to Work For® competition identifies and honors organizations that display a commitment to excellence in their human resource practices and employee enrichment. Organizations are assessed based on categories such as communication, work-life balance, employee education, diversity, recognition, retention and more.

“We are thrilled with these accolades, yet our work in employee engagement is never done,” said Laura Tomaino, SHRM-SCP, Vice President of People and Culture.  “As a growing company, who acquired two new organizations in 2020, we have worked very hard to keep the employee’s experience top of mind. Last year while we all experienced the workplace disruptions caused by COVID-19,  we did not let the distance deter us from being our best.  Collectively, we rose to the occasion, helping our employees transition to working from home, increasing our communication and flexibility.

One of the things I am most proud of was a collaboration with staff that we later named IBelongHE – this group continues to learn together and helps us celebrate our differences through diversity, equity, and inclusivity initiatives.  These national distinctions are because of our employees, who continue to bring their best to the virtual office each and every day. We couldn’t have done this without their support.”
